Is there a way to add chapter and so to a movie (divx,ac35.1), just like it is done with OGM??
Or can I mux the movie with OGG mux?? but there is no ogg file, just an ac3 file.
Peace.

Hi
of course you can mux your movie to OGM even if there is no Ogg audio but only an AC3 track.
For doing so there are presently (AFAIK) two ways (under Windows):
- first mux the AC3 into AVI (with nandub for example), then use OggMux to add chapters
- try OGMuxer which should do something similar in one step (i.e. muxing your movie and your AC3 file directly in OGM)
Just to let you know OGMuxer is still in testing state (I cannot tell you that it works 100% fine and that you will have absolutetly no problem with the generated file).
Hope this help.

Suiryc, thnx for your replies.
But when I mux ac3 with divx in a OGM/OGG container the fiels size pretty much the double of what it is suppoded to be.
I read something about in a other thred, but its not clear what to do exactly, maybe it was too late to think clearly, 5 am :P

_mux your avi with ac3 in nandub first, then feed that e.g. to OggMux_
It's VERY clear and VERY often stated (even in the answer above).
Read forum rule no. 1 again.
You even refuse to accept the answer and the right method if it's written as answer already, this is VERY rude.
*grrr*

I think that what you read was something like :
"The Ogg Muxer filter doesn't handle AC3 format directly as input. So when OggMux construct its DirectShow graph to create the OGM file, the AC3 decoder is automatically inserted between the AC3 source file and the Ogg Muxer filter, which means that you are not inserting the AC3 stream, but the decompressed one (in other words you are putting an uncompressed Wave stream into your OGM). Hence the big file size at the end.
The solution : first mux the AC3 stream in AVI with nandub, and then use OggMux (because this way Ogg Muxer will accept the AC3) or try using OGMuxer.
