View Full Version : Jerky movies/picture (on DV-444) after burning bin. & cue-files. HELP!

OK, i didnt know where 2 put this thread so... I hope U dont mind.
OK, my roblem is tha I cant watch many of my movies that I have made from .bin & .cue-files. Many (not all) movies runs fine at the beginning but efter a while (often in the midle or in the end of cd) the picture gets bad "pixels", jerky and stutter (picture). Some times its hard 2 get pass these parts of the movie (cd) and sometimes the DVD (Pioneer DV-444). locks up and stop the film.
HELP! What is the problem. I have tried burning the .bin & .cue-files direkt in NERO, copying the mounted movie using Deamontool. The problem doesnt seem 2 happen on the exact same place from time to time when I try it over again. I have tried to burn at 4x speed, no diff. What is the problem. Is it the CDRW? Is it the medium? Is it the apps? Or is it ME? HELP!
I would REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate U uys if U could help me out since I got A hole bunch of great movies lying here as bin. & .cue-files.

Is it the CDRW?
Try another CDRW, you will see.
Is it the medium?
Try another medium.
Is it the apps?
Try to make the .cue/.bin with VCDEasy, burn with CDRDao. If all the movies are as images already, extract the mpg file with VCDGear. Try to play the burned discs in another DVD player.
Or is it ME?
Hmm, watch the movies together with somebody else...

The only axtra CDRW I got is in my other comp, YES thios might be a problem but all movies doesbnt get brad, only some.
I have tried several brands of CDR but no really quality brand. Might do that.
Yeas I shall try 2 watch the movies at another standalone. It might bne a bitrate-problem.
I SHALL try to try another brand of me ;-)

How about the bitrate problem . Is there a easy way to solve it, that is changing bitrate on the move (mpeg-fiile)?

No easy way, sorry. You must re-encode or if you have the source files to start from the begining. BTW you can try this trick (http://www.geocities.com/newestmoviesencode/dvdvcd).
