I captured a movie from NTSC tape, which most likely has the following history:
1. Original movie was shot on film in Europe.
2. It was transferred to progressive PAL DVD (25 fps).
3. PAL DVD was copied to NTSC VHS with appropriate telecining.
The frame structure of captured movie is 3i-3p-3i-3p ...
I don't have access to the original DVD. De-interlacing of the movie gives the structure with every 6th frame duplicated.
Is it possible to reconstruct the original progressive frame from such a signal? Can be two possibilities - reconstruction similar to 30->24 IVTC or just removing the 6th frame.
Thanks in advance

Try using Decomb:

Telecide()
Decimate(cycle=6,mode=0)

It Works! Great! Thanks a lot!

The actual script I used was

LoadPlugin("c:\Ripping\Avisynth\Decomb\decomb.dll")
AVISource("c:\Movies\Test.avi")
Telecide()
Decimate(cycle=6)
