put subtitles in VCD

i 4 all
i have a movie in vcd format and i want to put portuguese subtitles but i dont have the subtitles, i only have this subtitles for divx format ...

please help

if u r going to reencode then u can permenantly burn the subs in the movie but u will loose in quality alot.
U can have vcdgear extract the movie form vcd, have virtualdub open it, add the subs and frameserve to a new vcd. Finally burn. U will find a lot of info and guides dealing with each individual task described above in this site and others dealing with this.

Otherwise u can find a programm that can display subs at the same time with a vcd. I found once one written by a Turkish guy. Sorry don't remember name or title.
