I read the Robshot CCE method and to a newbie it was a bit confusing. Here is a tip that helped me figure it all out. When starting out, select only a small chapter of a DVD to extract with smartripper. This will allow you to play with the settings and run through your single and multi passes in a few minutes. When you get it right make some notes to yourself and then proceed with a full movie.
