Hi Guys,
This is my first post on here, I Have spent many an hour reading the
forum but can't resolve my problem.

The dvd2vcd prosses work fine evey time for me but always the audio
is out of sync any ideas.

I have tryed NOT using Smartripper and doing the whole prosses with dvd2svcd, but it has the same effect.

Only one film has ever worked, Jurassic Park III and the only difference I noticed there was that the dvd2svcd logo at the front was missing and the change cd logo but the audio was bang on.

As I said guys please spend some time replying to me, I love this program and have spent many hours trying to solve my problem before posting here. Im 99 percent there just need the audio and video to
sync.

Thanks in advance. hope to here from some one soon.:(

Hi!
Have you tried to play it in a software DVD Player? I guess you have an Apex - Player, because its a known problem of some of these, that if you have a menu (or title pic) with MPEG Stills on your SVCD, the audio of the main movie is out of sync.
So, if this is a problem of your standalone Player, donīt use a title pic for your future rips!

Please read the sticky 'How to make a good post' (I think i have to map this sentence to my F12-Key).
You have to give us some information before we can guess what went wrong with your conversion.
btw: Dont cry for help and don't use multiple exclamtions marks and stuff like this, most people will ignore this kind of posts.

Hi Winxi,

Thanks for responding so quickly.

I have tryed the movies with PowerDVD and the audio is fine, it just goes out of sync on my Whalfdale 750s Stand alone player.

The other odd thing is disks 2 and 3 are always fine, its always disk 1 i have the problem with and that is the only one with the dvd2svcd logo on it so you might have answered my problem.

The Strange thing though is Jurasic Park III was fine but did not have any of the *.bmps on it even though i selected them to be !

I will try encoding another without the graphics disabled.

Thanks again.

No, the friendly part was mine this time, but as everybody can see at your post following to my first one, you ignore friendly people completely. So Chainsaw had to be a little more precise.
And again you ignore it and did not post your log. So how can you expect us to help you if don't give us the needed information?

Here is an earlier thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26760&highlight=apex+title+pic) about this Apex - problem with Mpeg Stills.
Strange thing, but it seems that some players donīt like MPEG Stills.

Hi Guys,

:(

Look, sorry for the comment made earlier, it was written out of frustration.

It appears that if i use the default logo at the front of the first CD
the it throughs the audio out of sync but approx 2 secs.

I have dropped the logo at the front and now all is fine..

Apologise again and thanks.
