i've just done some clips using psychovisual enhancements and I can't see any differance with it.

I did a one minute clip using 2 pass encoding with a bitrate of 600 (it's low, but it's looks good with the movie and fits on a cd), and a res of 544x240.

One test was with P.E set on a strong and the other was with it off. After briefly studying the two clips and can't see any differance between the two. Is P.E more effective on dark and bright films?

I didn't see any artifacts using p.e so i'll keep it on for my future encodes. It's main advantage it seems to give is that it makes quality based files smaller.

Has anyone had any big improvements using psychovisual enchancments?
Thanks

P.S Is there a program that can view two clips side by side, that way I can look at each clip simultaneously

Use AviSynth: StackVertical, StackHorizontal, ...
For subtracting images to get the difference search the AviSynth forum.
