hi all...
i downloaded an mpg file that is 720x480...i de-multiplexed the file and found the audio is in the .mpa format...this seemed ok..
now i have converted my mpg video to 352x240 (? whatever vcd standard is, i can't remember off the top of my head)...however, now i try to mux the new video file and the .mpa audio file...it seems to go ok, but after it is done the video length is way off, and i can't play see the video and the audio sounds messed up.
i muxed using tmpge of course and used the mpeg1 video format for the type of mux.
any ideas?

The first idea come in mind is to mux using bbMPEG. I have read somewhere in the guides (TMPG guide?) that muxing with TMPG may result in asynch probs.
Second idea (boring) is to try to analyse the audio - bitrate, sampling rate... You wrote something about VCD standard...
