hi all,
i hava a music dvd and want to make a cd of it. I already had varios probs, but i resolved them.
My question is, how (or with which prog) I can take the ac3 audio convert to wav an then split into the DVD-chapters?
thx MeChI

you can cut without even decoding to wav using Chapter-X-Tactor together with BeSplit :

iīll try to make a new preset for chapter-X-tractor that creates .cue files
might be teh best solution if itīs only for burning

Preset 7=CueSheet
Format 7=Track %C AUDIO\nINDEX 01 %mm:%ss:%cc\n
Header 7=File c:\untitled.wav WAVE\n
Footer 7=
put this in the .ini file at the right place
you have to change the filename ofcourse (can be done in the program)

p.s. itīs not tested, yet, but iīll post as soon as it is
EDIT: YOu have to correct the starttime of the tracks between 60-80mins
else it works fine
btw: you have to cut the wave to max 80min before using a cuesheet
so besplit is still very usefull
THX to all programmers!!!

In place of :
Header 7=File c:\untitled.wav WAVE\n
You can use :
Header 7=File "%file" WAVE\n
With this you can use the browse file dialog.
You have to correct the starttime of the tracks between 60-80mins
else it works fine
I will add a new keyword to have only minutes en no hours.
like this 1:10:30.20 -> 70:30:20
Also have you check that %cc is right, I don't remember exactly the CUE sheet format.

ok, thx, looking foward to the next version
just another litle idea: maybe you should change the stadart of the open-file-box from ".ac3" to "ac3,wav,mp3", but thats really not that important..
%cc is right for cue-sheets, i already tried one and it works

again, thank you guys.
i already my made musicDVD copy, but i tried out E-Males preset and its doing a fine job. But with some timestamps Nero has an error (for exampl in line5), if you change the seconds a litle bit it works.

In fact the last 2 digits of the time represent frame.
And 1 frame == 1/75 second
You can find a test version here :

toff, your version is working.
I've tested with 2 musicDVDs (both resultued in a Nero error with the old version).
a last little thing, the "save file"-option needs the possibility to make a *.cue output.
thx a lot,
MeChI
