I just ripped a DVD that's part of a 5 disc collection. They contain 52 episodes of a tv show. My problem is with Disc#4. After I ripped that disc, 1 of the VOBs plays very, very fast on my PC. I thought this may have been a problem created by DVD decrypter after ripping the disc. However, when I tried playing that certain VOB file on the original disc on my PC, it too plays very fast, with sound totally distorted. Now when I play the actual original DVD on a standalone DVD player, it plays that file perfectly. But when I added that VOB to my DVD project, when I played it back, it played at the correct speed, but it has no sound at all. I should add that every single VOB on these original disks play from beginning to end, so they need no editing. I didn't want to compress the files, since I want to maintain original quality. Here's the process I've been using and so far all my discs work fine, except for this single problem:

First I take my vob's, rename them VTS_01_001,VTS_01_002 and so on, then join them together with VobEdit. VobEdit repackages the vob's in 0.99GB chunks that will fit the dvd standard. After this, I open IfoEdit and click "Create Ifo's". Open the first vob and save. 4 new ifo & bup files are created, then I click on get VTS sector, and get ALL IFO files. After this I put all the new files in a folder named "VIDEO_TS", I then drag that folder with its contents to my NERO Burning program, I also add an "AUDIO_TS" folder for compatibility. Then I burn the disk.

All I want is for my VOB files to play continous, I don't want any menus, so this has worked perfectly, except for this 1 VOB file. Can someone please explain to me how come the VOB file in question plays perfectly on the original disk when played on a DVD player, plays very fast with distorted sound on my PC, and plays perfectly but with no sound at all when I burn the VOB into my DVD session? Any info to correct this problem would be greatly appreciated!
