Interlaced video and demuxed audio

Had great success with decomb/avisynth for deinterlacing video. The source was a DVD2AVI file with demuxed audio. When I attempt to remux the now deinterlaced/pulldown video with the original audio I find the audio file had a significantly longer time code than the video file

Boyo. Now what do I do?
