View Full Version : Ogm, SSA and 2 audio streams!

I've ripped a movie with two audio streams and subtitles. Then I've muxed the video and the audio streams with OggMux. Everything works fine, as long as I don't have the SSA in the directory with the movie. I can switch between the two streams, of course I have no subtitles. But as soon as I put the subtitles into the dir with the movie, I can see the subs(as expected) but I can't switch between the audio streams any more.

I have also tried to mux the SSA into the movie. I tried first muxing audio and video in OggMux and the adding the SSA with submux(from VobSub). And i tried to mux everything in submux. In both cases I can't switch audio streams, but turn subtitles on and of BUT they don't show, even if they are turned on.

What video player are you using?

Windows Media Player 6.4.09.1119. I think that's the one, that comes with Win2k.

I'd try it with ZoomPlayer 2.80, and see if it works there.. Even if you don't plan on using that player, it might shed some light on the subject.

I thought that Tobais SubDS filter only played SRT subs? So that might be a problem when muxing directly with Oggmux. I don't see why it would cause a problem if the sub was a seperate file though. interesting problem.

I've had the same problem, on W98 with mplayer 6.4. Tried with oggmux and subtitles didn't show.
At the time I put a message , someone must have answerer "ah yeah, interesting problem", and that was all.
Seems like it's a very rare problem.

subtitles work with a traditional subtitle filter (ex DivxG400), when they are in the same dir with the same name, too

I've tried using WMP Classic from http://vobsub.edensrising.com/mpc.php. That one works.

Thanks for your help.
