wav to ac3 conversion

Does anyone know of an easy software to shrink a stereo wav file into an AC3 stereo file?

I know that Besweet can go from ac3 to wav, but not the reverse? Is that correct?


Background: I have feature length movies nearly 2 hours in length that need to be placed on a single DVD. The wav audio file size is nearly 1.5 gigs. I need to compress the wav into an ac3 or mpa file to be insinc with my movie.

You can use BeSweet to go from WAVE to AC3...

The scenarist AC3 encoder is easy to use :)

Software is a tad expensive though :D

I use SoftEncode -- good quality.

Thanks to everyone! The latest version of Besweet does have the wav to AC3 encoder.
