CCE couldn't recognize VDR file

Trying for the first time using CCE. The CCE gave me error when trying to open VDR as 'not recognisable'. I am trying to follow the guide"Foolproof AVI to SVCD Conversion Using CCE". Is there a plugin for this? Fix? Thanks in advance.

Only those cce versions recognize .vdr files:
- cce 2.25 sp
- cce 2.50 sp
- cce 2.64.01.10 sp
- cce 2.66.xx.xx sp beta

And those versions won't work:
- cce 2.62 sp
- cce 2.64.01.02 sp

No wonder why it didn't work. I had tried using 2.62 SP and will install 2.5. Thanks.
