Problems with Combing after CCE

Hi,
I have encoded the region 1 version of monsters INC using 1 pass vbr in CCE. I got the video settings from bitrate viewer and with a min of 2000 and a max of 9800. The end file is easily small enough to go on a DVDR, but the quality especially on fast moving parts is a bit shakey, and sometimes a bit comby.

did you encode it as film or 29.97fps?

Sorry if i sound a bit stupid...but how can I tell. I cant find a setting for FILM or 29.97fps in CCE

you choose FILM when you make you dvd2avi project. for almost all ntsc titles, you should choose 'force film' in dvd2avi which will change the fps to 23.976 for the movie. then whe you encode in cinemacraft, make sure to choose progressive frames. once CCE is done, run the video file it created through 'pulldown.exe.' that should make your movie play nice and smooth like the original.
