Frame duplicating filters - before or after noise reduction?

Hi, is it better to use filters like CopySame/Dup before or after noise reduction filters (both spatial and temporal)?

Spacial filters after, temporal filters before (additional frames help to eliminate noise).

Hmmm, I think, that better at sequence of identical frames is copying the last of them (potentiallly most temporal-filtered), not first.

If you do the copying first, then the temporal filtering is not needed, because the frames have all become duplicates.

Considering the vast number of frames that occur in a given video where enough of the frame changed to not be considered a dupe, but still much of the frame stays the same, temporal filtering would still help.
I think temporal filtering before the copy filter will help the copy filter detect copies better, and still provide benefit for the frames that are similar but not copies, so I'm with HarryM on this one.
