Ripping DTS Track to perform DTS CD ??

Yes there it is. I'd like to get the DTS track from a music DVD; but i'm afraid i don't if there are tools to extract the track; and then to resample it to 44.1 KhZ to burn it on a DTS CD.

Does any guy had done this kind of job yet??

I know surcode can create a DTS track from 5 mono .wav files; but i'd like to preserve the DTS track...

If you have a DVD-Video disc with a DTS track you can use any program that is able to strip tracks from VOB files.
Just use a program like SmartRipper to decrypt and rip the DTS track to a seperate file in one step.

As for resampling, why would you want to? Any receiver/preamp that can process DTS can process 48khz samples. But if you really want to the only why I know is to decode each channel of the DTS track to a seperate PCM channel, then resample each channel down to 44.1khz, then encode back to DTS. I know of no tool that will resample and transcode DTS in one step.

As for making a DTS CD, that might be a problem. A DTS CD is an Audio-CD where the PCM frames are actually DTS data. When played through the stereo analog connections of a CD-player only static is heard. When outputed through a SPDIF connection to a preamp/receiver the DTS is decoded just like a DVD's DTS track.
Now comes the problem. AudioCD's have no error correction. The PCM format is so redundant that a few byte errors produce no detectable errors. That won't be true of DTS data. As a result the DTS data used in a DTS CD is probably a different format than of a DVD Track. It probably includes redundency and/or error correction data. You would need a DTS encoding tool that would encode this format of DTS. You would also need a program that could make the DTS look like PCM frames so it could be burned.

I don't have Sonic Foundary's Soft Encode, but is it able to decode dts tracks (or only AC3)?

Demux the DTS sound track from the DTS movie (you can use DVD2AVI)
Use Hypercube Transcoder (http://hypercube.is.dreaming.org/) to generate 6 pcm files (use its PCM engine feature).
Open each PCM file as a RAW file in an audio editing program like sound forge and save each file as mono 16-bit 44000hz WAV file. (Do this for each one of the 6 PCM files).
Use those 6 mono WAV files in surcode to create your DTS AUDIO CD.

BeSure v1.2 principly supports ac3 & BeSweet, but if you'll set BeSweet.exe's path to azidts.exe, and instead of selecting ac3 files, you'll select dts files - it will work.
