I split Star Wars 1 on two dvdīs and the second part plays well...
But the first part only plays well on the computer, when I try to burn it with nero it says: "DVD files reallocation failed" and Nero does not burn it ??!!
Any tips about this ?

i always use ifoedit to create an image file.
then burn the image file using GEAR Pro DVD.
don't know if nero will import an image file.

Thank you for your reply.
I solved this "problem" very easy:
I burnt it with Record Max and it is playing perfectly !!!
Seems Nero has still its problems with DVD burning...

When you used Nero were you using 5.5.8.2 ? Did you choose UDF/ISO for the DVD project? I never have problems with it when I use those settings with that version.

If you chose DVD-VIDEO, then of course you might see more bugs cause it tries to process the files or something stupid like that....there's no need for that since you already know the files work. all you need to do is burn it using UDF 1.02

It seems so that Nero is causing Problems anyway. I think the best way is to create a image and burn it with prassi or record now.

That's weird !

I have been using Nero 5.5.8.1 for a while, now 5.5.9.0 and I never had a problem.... and I burned about 350 DVDs :)

For me Nero is the simplest and the best. You drag and drop your VIDEO_TS folder et voila, no need to create an image first.

Yeah I am having the same problem with Road Trip...Part2 can burn and play perfectly but Part1 will always give me the "files reallocation failed". Post in the NEWBIE section...guess I am posting in the wrong section :)))

Anyway...I guess I'll try to get Record Max and see if that will solve my problem...

Also can anyone tell me what I did wrong here too?

Ok...I try to use Imgtool to make an image and seem to have another problem...

He's what I do...I made a dir <Road Trip CD1> under C Drive and add 2 subdirs <VIDEO_TS> and <AUDIO_TS> inside <Road Trip CD1>.

Next I moved all the files into the <VIDEO_TS> folder...

Then load up Imgtools...The part with "select source dir" I chose
<C:\Road Trip CD1> then for the drive I chose E and click "Make Drive" since I want the image to go to E Drive where there is enough space...then click on "DVD Image"...

Next I chose E as the "DVD Drive" and then E:\testingcd1 as the "Output Image File" and finally <Road Trip Pt.1> as the "Volume Title" and click on "Create Disc Image"

Then I get this ERROR "Can't locate 'video_ts' folder or 'video_ts.ifo' file.

What did I do wrong?...

THANKS
