Hi, just trying to do a one DVD only woth all 3 seasons of Jackass.
I grabed it from the donkey, and files are mpeg1 1150 CBR plus stereo 44.1 128 mp2.

To fit everything on the DVD, i reencode to 1000 VBR using tmpg and 48 128 Mono mp2.

As the source files are not really good, there is no nearly no loss

creates menus, import everything in Maestro.
First, i do one VTS with the 25 m1v put one after the other and one mp2 joined with besweet.
Generate files and maestro stop @ 54 %, no error, just doing nothing more, HD stopped.
humm. Also did a try with one m1v joined with TMPG, same.
also try toput 25 VTS: stops on vts9, first episode, season2.
I tried to put m1v from season 1, in case there is an error in the S2E1 m1v. Same.

Grrr. Maestro sucks, let's go on scenarist.
It did not accept any file, neither m1v !(invalid format)than mp2 (CRC error). m1v 1150 CBR is OK, but i need to downsize it.

So,

any idea why Maestro stop like that ?
What format m1v, m2p does Scenarist accept ?

Thx for your help

I think the DVD spec only allows for 1150 CBR for MPEG1. That is why it won't accept the VBR MPEG1.

i think it only supports CBR mpeg-1, but at maximum of 1800ish, typical of 1150.

Ok thanks.
Maestro accepts vbr 1000 ... and agree to compile if only season 1 .
I will burn and test the result.
