Can someone tell me what values to use for Q factor, image quality etc in DVD2SVCD when using CCE as the backend encoder ripping DVD to DVD-R??

use the 'robshot' guide, also known as 'getting the best out of cce'
if you want to encode to a specific size, pick the right bitrate in multipass and choose a few passes.

Use the robshot method (can be found in doom9 guides).
Image quality setting is a very important aspect, According to the doom9 guide that should be set to 5. That is ok if the movie is not longer than 2 hours.
Last week i encoded Lord of the Rings (171mins) two times and i used 5 and 25. The second one (25) looks much better.
So for 2 hour movies i'd stick to 5
for 2.5 ~~ 15
for 3 ~~ 25
Try it yourself and tell me what you think.

ive been using a value of 17 so far, and things look pretty good.
