You know, I almost hate when they announce stuff like this! Why? Cause I want it NOW! According to the article "Availability - October 2002" ... usually means they'll ship 1 unit on October 30th, and the rest the next month or two.

Hats off to Sony, though! I can't wait to see what media they certify to run at 4x and 2x.
