I did my first pass with Vdub 1.4.10 with the following script

LoadPlugin("e:\PROGRA~1\GORDIA~1\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("E:\Teste.d2v")
crop(4,2,712,573)
BicubicResize(608,448,0,0.5)

My Setting for the first pass Koepi's XviD-04092002-1 _ALPHA_ Release

motion search 6 (Ultra high)
quant : MPEG
Maximum I Frm. 300 Min 10
Lumi Masking

Everything went fine for the first pass.

Now for the second pass I used Koepi's Stats Reader to regenerate 1st Pass stats.
Quants capped at 2-5/2-15
I-Frame boost 0%

Below i-frame distance...10
I-Frame bitrate reduction 30%

CC High and Low 0/0
Paybak Proportional with 250 frames delay.
Hinted Me unchecked

I selected first pass stats generated by statsreader and disabled AltCC

When I start the second pass I get this Error:

Video Compression Error: An Unknown Error Occured (may be corrupt data) . (error code -100)

Does anybody have any idea why?

I'm running WinXpPro and I have installed on this computer:

Divx3.11
ffdshow (removed to see if it helps)
Divx 5.02 (removed to see if it helped)
And obviously the above build of xvid which I want to test.

Can somebody help??

(I'm looking eager for a first xvid encode)

All the best.

Sharro

@Sharro

In the "Two Pass" tab select your original 1stPass stats file in the "1st pass stats" area, and the statsreader-scaled stats file in the "2nd pass stats" area.

Seems like the same mistake I had done once ;).

I swear to u that I had read statsreader forum twice (I have it printed). :-)

The mistake was in front me and me always looking for a mistake in previous steps.

Thanks.

Take care

Sharro

That's nice. Welcome to XviD community then! ;)
Good luck, Sharro! ;)
