Seamless branching titles

The guides on Doom9's site seem to conflict or maybe it's me. The guide says to use DVD Decryptor but right below it, the seamless branching notes, say that you can't use DVD Decryptor, that you must use smartripper or vstrip. Which is it?

BTW, have you ever seen a dvd that is seemless branched where it jumps around by cell id as oppossed to vob id?

should give you an idea ;) Obviously the earlier guide needs updating, a lot has happened since march. In march DVD Decrypter couldn't do IFO parsing and was hence unsuited for such titles, by now there's not only ifo parsing, but ifoedit also got its own routines to handle such titles.
