Continued from "miniDVD 2 audios + 2 subs"...
Well, I figured out that The Lord Of The Rings was too long for a start. So I decided I would start with a short movie. I picked up one of my DVDs - STand By Me, which is only 88 minutes.
I prefer scenarist because I've got the manuals.
I have gathered the assets together:
- 2 subs (extracted with subrip 1.06 as scenarist sst) in bmp.
- 2 audio tracks in ac3 ( I tried to extracted the ac3 straight from the DVD disk using DVD Decrypter, but it would give me only a vob. So I had to use dvd2avi).
- the movie m2v (352x240 ntsc) encoded with bbmpeg as DVD.
I won't bother now with quality. I am just doing an experiment in order to get the hang of it.
This post is just to refresh ur mind and keep u informed.
I have also read scenarist's manual and I think I am ready to go on.
Do u think I can cope with the job just following the user guide or is there a procedure I should take in order to get miniDVDs?
