View Full Version : How to dispose of an entire Title Set?

I have several DVD-9's that could easily be backed up to a single DVD-R if one of the formats (4:3 or 16:9) could be removed. I've tried to do that by loading up the ifo for the unwanted VTS and "stripping Streams" and then keeping nothing (no audio, subs, or VOBid's). But, even though it (IfoEDit) asks me for a destination to write the new ifo's and bup's to it doesn't write anything. So, I have to save it to that folder manally. This tells me I'm doing something wrong. It does seem to dispose of the unwanted bytes. I just don't know how to tie it all back together into one new smaller unit. Won't the info in the main VIDEO_TS and menu still be pointing to a VTS that's empty? How do I process the whole shebang? Does just loading up the VIDEO_TS and the new VTS.IFO's and doing the "Get VTS Vectors" thing patch it all up? I'm definitely doing something wrong and because of my ingnorance I'm going broke with all DVD-R's I'm coastering. Not to mention the fact that IfoEdit likes to crash at the worst possible moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
