I am a mass capturer. I've captured some 300+ G of videos in the past 18 months. For the first year they were 352x240 (yuck).
Finally after getting Win2K installed, I can capture in 512x384, which is just fine for animation. And I get 1+ week uptimes instead of having to reboot before EACH capture.
But sometimes, I wake up in the morning, check my nightly captures, and they are half-height. That is, the video is still 512x384, but all the content is compressed into the top half. It is essentially 512x192, put into a 512x384 window.
I have to crop out the top 192 lines, and do a bicubic resize to 512x384 in order to "restore" it to "512x384", but it is a much much much much much much worse looking 512x384...
Has anyone had this happen with their ATI cards?
I'm using VirtualDub + ATI Radeon 32M DDR with s-video input.
I had catalyst 02.1 drivers though next time I reboot I will be using 02.2....
