Hi !

I maked a dvd-r , but if i burn it, the pc plays only , the dvd's and the ps2 dont start it.

My friend tells, the problem is, no menu @ the dvd. How can i make a "empty" menu @ scenarist? (i dont wanna use menu, i just wanna start the movie)

2nd question:

i use 3 titles, but if title 1 playback is end the dvd stops, not plays the title 2 and 3.... how can i set up this thing?

thanks, XTC_HUN

No, there are no menus necessary to play a dvd. :)

For I can tell you, what you have to do to link the different titles, you have to tell me what authoring program you're using.

Eh, sorry. Using Scenarist 2.6.

And if i try dvd maestro, works pc,dvd and ps2 too, but the subs are sucked... wanna know why works the dvd maestro and scenarist not.

In Scenarist you have to link the pre-command of the first play pgc to the title, which should be played first. If there are multiple pgcs within one title, and you want them to be played one after the other, then you can link them with the "Next PGC" command (right click on each pgc).

To jump from one title to the next, just drag a link from the post-command of the last pgc in a title to the next title. The dvd specs only allow you, to link from one title to another, but not directly from one pgc in one title to one specific pgc in another title. So when you jump from the last pgc in that title to the next title, it will always play the first pgc in that title (which has the "Entry" Flag set).

Promlem.

I got 3 titles, 1 is 16:9 (the movie), and the other 2 is 4:3 (trailer and musicvideo)

VTS_1 is the Title 1 with 40 Chapters.
VTS_2 is the Trailer and the Musicvideo

If i burn, the pc plays the movie then stops. But i dont know why not works this DVD-R @ ps2 and home dvd player....

Sorry, that I discussed the matter via ICQ, but it was much easier and faster than posting a good dozen postings here..

The final project should look like the picture at the bottom. The different Video Title Sets result of different video aspect ratios and different audio languages. I used several dummy pgcs in the video manager domain to linke the different VTS. The solution is not very elegant and should be avoided in big projects, but for this simple scenario it does the trick perfectly. :)
