I am interested to see other comments regarding the "Auto DVD Backup" by Johnny owl (www.johnnyowl.com). In my opinion, it is an exellent automation tools, much better than GKnot probably in some aspects.
This tool could give you an autorun CD complete with player (BSPlayer) and you can add subtitle and sound as many you like as matter of cliking the check box. It uses Ogg for sound that gives more bit rate for movie. The bit rate is automatically calculated for the movie. This tool gives you enough tweak setting for advance user but not too many, however. Therefore, it should be easy for regular user.
Once you configure it, it will give you a .BAT file to do those nasty jobs. You can freely edit this batch file if you familiar with all CLI comments. For multiple movies, you can create a new .BAT file by yourself and calls other individual batch files or you can copy and paste all batch files into a single batch file.
The only draw back is that this GUI lack of advance filtering and flexible cropping function compare to GKnot. But it is mpeg2avi inferiority compared to Avisynth, however. Not the tool. There should be a workaround for advance user, if you wish.
I think this tool is deserved a try. And sorry if this has been discussed before (Yes.. I have used that little button and could find any word for this subject).
