Hi
As you can see in lots of dvds , there is an audio line called comments of director where the director speaks something about each time of the movie.
When you open the audio list from your dvd player , you can see of them is audio commentry. I need to know how can I do this with scenarist.
Thanks in advance

it should just go into the movie as if its a 2nd audio track, and the language selected for it.

what I understand is that Sherlock wants to find the way to mark the selected track as an Director's Commentary to show up ona programm like flask. Isn't it?
I know it can be done cause I show it once, but since I dont have Scenarist installed right now I can be of no help. I'll keep a note about it though

I believe IFO edit allows this, just double click on relevant audio track after opening IFO.

Yes, Matthew is right. Pending my answer for Scenarist u can go to ifoedit and actually edit the description of the audio stream u want to a number of choices. I think that these choices r the actual Scenartist ones. Am I right?

This isn't really entered in Scenarist. If you take the AC3 files ripped from a movie with commentary, drag them into the Data Editor, then click on each one and examine its properties, there is a read-only field called Bsmod that has "complete main" for the soundtrack AC3 and "commentary" for the commentary.
In fact, I believe that this value is set when the AC3 is encoded. For example, in Soft Encode's Encode Settings dialog, there is a field called Bit stream mode with the following list of possible values:
Main audio service: Complete main
Main audio service: Music and effects
Associated service: Visually impaired
Associated service: Hearing impaired
Associated service: Dialog
Associated service: Commentary
Associated service: Emergency
Main audio service: Karaoke
My guess is that the ones in bold above are the only values that are ever used in DVD authoring. Unfortunately, I don't think BeSweet allows you to change the bit stream mode.

Well, maybe you're right. But what about subtitles ?
It doesn't bit stream mode.

I finally figured this one out, and Scenarist doesn't make it easy.
In the Scenario Editor, click on the Video Title Set icon (the folder with a disc in it), not the Title folder and not the PGC. Now in the Properties window, scroll down to the last two items, which are labeled "Audio Language Code Extension" and "Subpicture Language Code Extension". These two items have folder icons in front of their names, which means that by double-clicking on them, you go to another screen to enter information. Double-clicking on either of them will get you a different Properties window, with drop-down lists for each audio or subpicture stream in the titleset. Here is where you can pick all of the various extra attributes. To go back up to the regular VTS properties, click on the folder with an up arrow button located in the upper-right hand corner of the Properties window.
