Some of you may not know this, but there are a few portable VCD players in Hong Kong, although they are also being sold elsewhere. They are portable CD/MP3/VCD players. I tried out 2 different brands and they both had the same problem - they would not play homemade VCDs very well at all. The picture would stutter. However, if I copied a commercial VCD to CD-R, it played it fine. I tried making homemade VCDs with Nero and VCDeasy and the players didn't correctly play either. Does anyone
out there have experience with VCD portables and know of any burning software can be used to make homemade VCDs that the portable players will play correctly?

I don't know which players you were looking at, but check this thread & especially the vcdhelp.com forums for some info on the Amax/Napa players. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28701&highlight=napa
