I can't get advdinfo to work. It won't bring up any manufacturing info. I tried forceaspi to make sure I had the correct drivers, but that did nothing and has screwed up being able to read from certain drives. I re-installed nero drivers and that fixed the missing drives problem, but I still get no info from advdinfo.

With ADVDinfo, the only part I can get to work is the one that says it will read the prerecorded lead-in data. That's where it has the manufacturer's name. Forget the rest of the commands...they don't work on my system either.

There is a complete error list for Advdinfo, starting on page 417,
at http://ftp.t10.org/ftp/t10/drafts/mmc3/mmc3r10g.pdf and some explanations of the maker at http://forum.firmware-flash.com/viewtopic.php?t=3352&highlight=advdinfo

According to the link, ADVDInfo works with DVD-ROMs too.
And: It works with my Toshiba 1502, but not in the DVR-A03...but I only get sense out of the program for DVD-RW. It doesn't show anything for DVD-R (tried TraxData (labeled 2x, but only 1x compatible) and Verbatim 2x media)
