i used DVD2SVCD to encode a interlaced ntsc 16:9 dvd to ntsc 4:3 svcd (black borders added). but the svcd came out odd-looking, with interlacing artifacts everywhere..
so i was just wondering if the resize in DVD2SVCD handles frames "field by field" or as progressive images?
when going from interlaced 16:9 to interlaced 4:3 it really should resize "field by field", am i right?
(i'm testing a 4:3 - 4:3 dvd conversion now, since it's only linear resize it should turn out ok)
