I don't really know what to ask, but I'll explain what I like to have on the final DVD. Hopefully, someone can tell me how to do it.
I like to rip only the main movie with both dolby 6 ch digital and 2 ch audio files. This part I can do. The next thing that I want is to only have a menu that I can choose which audio to use... either the 6 ch or 2 ch. This is where I'm lost and can't figure out how to accomplish it.
Can someone help me out?
Thanks

Well u r not far away.
To have such a result u must author back the video and the 2 audio streams u now have separated. This can only be done with an authoring programm.
U must choose an authoring tool. For very simlple project like yours u can use a simple package like spruce up or equivalent. MyDvd, bundled with A03 can do the trick. if u would go for a professional tool and have access to Maestro I would recommend it also as u can do much better and nicer things later with it. There is an xcellent guide on doom's site about Maestro, my preffered choice.
if u want to keep the original menus u must study the threads from Ifoedit forum as they are tons of knowledge there. It is a different realm of adventure in ifoediting but its worth it.

I have a question on this subject. I strip the main movie + 2 audio tracks (2ch/6ch) with IFOedit and let it create the ifo's. Can the audio be switched from the set top player? You know, forced with out a handy menu?
Just curious, I am still at the stage of finding which media (DVD+R) will work in my Toshiba set tops. Today I bought TDK and a Imation....... HP media didn't work for either DVD+RW or +R. However, they did work on both computers DVD read only drives.
