Hi,

I'm using 1.09 build 3 and for the first time ever, it won't work. I try to convert Princess mononoke PAL region 2 and everytime I get the message "List index out of bounds (3)".
I never saw this before on any DVD.

At first I was trying to rip with internal routines and I immediately got the message. So now I tried to rip with vstrip, no success either. Finally I tried DVD Decrypter and it ripped fine.

But now I try to start encoding in DVD2SVCD without ripping, the program says "Initializing - INitializing finished" and immediaely after I have the "List index out of bounds (3)" message.

So this doesn't seem to be related to ripping... Any help ? DVD2SVCD, is this a bug you heard about before ?

Now I have the vob files on my disk but I can't use them...Damn !

THanks for your help.

Can you rip the vob files that are on your HD again? Try loading up the .ifo fule ripping tham agian using the internal routines.

THanks for answering,

I tried this but it doesn't work either. It seems the problems appear right after the initialisation messages in DVD2SVCD.
Damn, I really have to make SVCD out of this Mononoke DVD... Can't keep Vobs on hard disk for ages...

Any other advice will be greatly appreciated.

Waldok.

Same stuff happened to me some 2 months back - see thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28687 . Unfortunately, with all my tries & skirmishes, couldn't overcome the issue. To me, it looked like the DVD had some physical damage: it did stuck several times during play. So, after trying cleaning & "shining", and getting nowhere, I just gave up. Sorry for the bad news :( .

If you cant get it to work then you will have to re rip the movie from the DVD agian. :(
