every Avi that i have converted into a Mp2 & M2V file seems to start off ok, but by the time the warner brother or intro screen has finished it seems to be very behind.

All i do is use Virtual Dub to Full process the sound
(i have also tried direct stream then converting to WAV)

then use TMPgEnc to convert to MPeg using the new Wav.
Then Simple De-Multiplex in to the two files.
Then when i play in Ulead Video Studio the same happen with all (well the ones i have tried)

Has any one got any clues, or come across this before?

Thanks

What format is your AVI from. is this a capture from a cam, divx...etc

It sounds like you audio is 44Khz...are you creating a dvdr..if so it needs to be 48khz.

the avi is a DivX, and the sound is a MP3 48Khz,

but when split, the sound is miles out a couple of minutes down the line. Could it be Video Studio? Is there another program that i could use to view the M2V & Mp2 files to see if they synch.

any software dvd player should be able to play the muxed file, though some have been known to show sync issues so this may not be the right way to go.

What are the lengths of all your files? The DivX AVI, the mp3, the mp2, the m2v?
