When Ifoedit finds RCE protection, and then it tells you to select a zone that the player should have, do you have to select the target zone of the files (assign a new zone) or do you have to select the actual zone of the DVD???

If selecting the zone refers to selecting the destination zone of the files, can you select all the zones so the resulting DVD can be multi zone?

Help!

Yea, the description is a bit confusing.

You must select the Region, in which the DVD would be playable!

If it is a region 1 DVD, you must select Region 1, even if your player is Region 2 or whatever.

And you should only check one of the Region-boxes. If you check more or all, then your DVD won't be playable at all.

Derrow, is it easy to put that consideration in the dialog box that appears in Ifoedit? Like a message that says, only select 1 zone, or your DVD won't be playable at all????

Maybe in the next version!

Thanks for your efforts.

Yep, good idea.
Maybe I should change it to Radio-buttons, instead of check-boxes.

Sorry guys, but then how the hell does my DVDIt generate the main .ifo files with all regions enabled and the discs play fine?

Not the same thing. This thread is talking about IfoEdit's ability to fool RCE coding already present on a DVD. To do that it must replace the region code returned by the player with the one you select.
