I Rempeged a movie (high crimes) with rempeg and afterwards, I remuxed with ifoedit 0.932. There is a small pause every once in a while in the moive playback.

The pause is continuous, during all the movie.

I opened the m2v file in Ulead DVD Workshop and the playback is smooth, without pauses, so I think it could be the IFOEDIT.

If also remuxed with IFOEDit 0.92, but I had the same results!

Derrow! Anyone!

Please help!

This subject is all over the forum, please look around before posting.
Try using IfoEdit0.6 on any remux that does not playback smoothly. You can download it from http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow/

Can you tell me, if the pauses happen on each new Cell ?

If so, please check the value of the following flag of that cell:
Seamless playback linked in PCI.

If this flag is set to 'yes', there will be a pause of <50ms.
This flag is usually set a the first cell of a PGC, and at the cell where the layer-breakpoint is located.

I'm sorry Derrow, but I don't understand what you're talking about. I have not a lot of knowledge on cells.

But a question...if it works in Ifoedit 0.6 why does it not in Ifoedit 0.932? Just curious!

Should I remux all movies in this old version of 0.6 to avoid this problem?

Is ifoedit 0.932 much faster in the remuxing operation than 0.6?

Thanks!

I didn't change anything on the remux function since 0.6, so I wonder why there are now problems with the recent versions.

Except, I think I changed the code a bit to remux interlaced video-streams properly, cause the frame-count is different though.

Derrow, in reply to your question "Can you tell me, if the pauses happen on each new Cell ?"...

I to have been experiencing the same stuttering problems with remuxed VOB's. I don't think that it is to do with new cells as the stuttering is quite frequent.

Recently I've remuxed Blade 2 and Dog Soldiers (both PAL). The finished Blade 2 disk had reasonably regular pauses, every few seconds. The Dog Soldiers disk had sections of the film where the stuttering was very frequent (several times a second). Other parts of the film were relatively stutter free.
