It seems there is a little bug in BeSweet (1.4RC7) when doing MP3 CBR files.
The first frame of the file is set to 0 (i.e. for my 128kbps 48kHz stereo file the first 384 bytes are all set to 0). This doesn't happen when doing VBR or ABR files (the first frame is correctly set).
Of course you can still play the file (since most players will recognize this as being a bad frame and seek to the next one), but I just wanted to let you know.
