View Full Version : MPEG-1 video and full D1 still menus in same VTS?

In the project I'm working on, I set up a VTS and title with some full D1 resolution still menus in PGCs and some MPEG-1 video at quarter(?) D1 (352x240) in some different PGCs. When I made a test DVD of this, navigating from the menus to the video caused some Pioneer player bugginess. The video would not start, I would only get some choppy audio and the menu screen would resize.

Is there some problem with mixing different resolution stills and video in the same title or VTS?

Yes, that is a problem. Each ifo file contains 2 video attribute entries, one for the menu, and another for the title video. So, while the menu can be different from the title, within each group they should be the same.
