Vanilly Sky splitting problem

I still cant get the Vanilla Sky split to work...

I rip the entire DVD to my drive
I open the main movie IFO with IfoEdit
I select split to 2 DVD-Rs from the VOB extras menu at the top of the IfoEdit screen
Correct Vob-Unit (Navigation Pack)pointers in VOB-files//////Correct IFO tables with new VOB-Unit information//////Split to 2 DVD-Rs are all selected automatically

I click ok
Now the split position is selected already (usually at the layer split)I have tried a few different selections with no luck...I never split on a cell

I click ok

After its all do splitting I open up the new IFO in the folder that I split to and I try to "Play DVD" and I get errors

First error is "Get DVD Volume Info Failed"
and then "Get number of Chapters Failed"
And a blank screen in the IfoEdit DVD player


What am I missing?


I had no problem splitting StarWars using this method

Do you have the playback-problem with both discs?

^^^ Yes I have the same errors with both folders....I think my problem is with reseting the chapters numbers in the VIDEO_TS.IFO files...I might be missing something...I got a little confused with the guides...Are the any guides with screen shots?

Also you should know I only want to keep the main movie and not the menu

Oh yea, it looks like you messed something up in VIDEO_TS.IFO with the chapters.

I need to update my splitting guide asap, since things changed a bit with the new version 0.932,
and I need to check the splitting feature my self with a few titles, to see if everything workes right.

Shit, just missing a bit of free time :-)
I'll try to hurry up.

Thanx again for your reply....I am having the same problem with The Royal Tenenbaums but I did The Phantom Menace with NO problems...I can wait as long as needed for your new guide...

If not for your program I wouldnt even be this far...Thank you
