I was successfully using www.cd-recordable.com blank media in my Pioneer 503 and Sony 860 changers. I ordered just before cd-recordable went belly up and never got my order. I got 35 blanks from Meritline (the ones with the white surface), and found that some reject when I try to write them (Prassi), or those that do write are giving me pixilation and freezing.

Can anyone make another recomendation for a source of media. I was having such good luck with cd-recordables. I'm bummed that they went under.

I record on a Pioneer A03.

DON"T EVER use prassi w/ meritline discs. Use nero. I have pioneer and EVERY single probelm i had was with prassi/recordmax. Switch over to nero 5.5.9 and remove multisession before burning......

btw i don't really recommend meritline discs.........I don't know which one u used (i used dvdpro). As you may know, disc quality isn't great....(it's not about compatibility). If you notice the edge of the disc....the "finish" isn't great and these small grain like pebbles ? (I can't seem to explain them properly) sometimes get on the disc (it's hardly noticeable), and I'm sure that will damage the laser of your dvd player......

Princo dvd quality is definitely better than dvdpro.

I abondoned Nero (not sure which version), when I began making coasters. But would consider it to get through the rest of these Meritlines. Besides the multi-session switch, anything I need to change? Thanks.
