in menus, buttons are automatically numbered, you *should* be able to use those numbers and the numbers on the remote.
as for 'movies', you can use the numbers to switch directly to chapters (in number order), BUT, the pioneer 535 does this fine, everything else ive tried you have to go into display, and type in the number, then hit enter, or some crap like that.

ok, i tested it on my pioneer 444 and the chapter selection inside the chapter play works fine also the next/prev key, but not in menu
in a menu it seems so that the number from a butten presents a number on the RC.
so i think i have to define on every menu (i have 10) about 50 buttons for direct choice of chapters and 10 buttons for the choice of menu, that's a lot of buttons and i think it's not so easy to handle.
but is there a chance to get a working prev/next button in a menu.
another problem, i notice, is that when a menu starts it's up to 3 seconds until the buttons are selectable, could this be normal.
is there another program on market which can author this things or a program which can handle ac3.
i like the ulead power dvd tools but these can not handle ac3.
and exists a program which can normalize/boost an ac3 stream, i have not found anything.
