Hi VirtualDub gurus. I hope to get your help.
I have a DivX Pro 5.0.2 avi file, but with Windows Media Player I can't seek it. When I move the slider, audio keeps on playing but video freezes. If I play it with DivX Player 2.0 Alpha, seek doesn't go over a fixed point but it never freezes (I mean: I move the slider to half movie, the slider goes back to the last correct keyfram and keeps on playing from there).
Here is "File Information" from VirtualDub 1.4.10:
Frame size: 720x546 25.000 fps (40000 microsec)
# frames: 168516 (1:52:20)
Decompressor: DivX Pro 5.0.2 Codec
Number of key frames: 48 (NO ERROR. 48)
(...it goes on)
As you see, VirtualDub only finds 48 keyframes.
The movie plays just fine if I don't seek it.
I've searched the Internet for a solution, and I found that "Re-derive keyframe flags" was suggested. It DOESN'T help my case.
Any idea?
Thank you,
