ASPI ?
ASAPI ?
SPTI ?
ElbyCDIO ?

The speed is really down to the driver itself. There is no difference between the each implementation so far as my code is concerned.
The most stable, I guess is ASPI....but you'd expect that coz its been around the longest.
SPTI has a couple of problems which I hope I have fixed in 3.1.3.0.
ElbyCDIO should be sweet too though.

I could confirm that, it's the driver problem and UDMA is latest solutions, my latest problem with speed solved while enabling the
UDMA.

Ok, thank you for the confirmation, I'll try to use the ASPI then,
even the latest Adaptec 4.71 is not working for me, the ASPI can't
detect any drives (even I have add the trick from your FAQ), but the
problem solved as soon as I re-place the WNASPI32.DLL with the Nero's.
