DC10+ capture Pal VCR w/Ntsc playback

Ntsc VHS Tape, in a Pal VCR /w NTSC playback feature.

Shows OK on (pal)TV, but capturing with the Pinnicle DC10+ hates it and gives up after one frame.

I know I was naive to expect the dc10 to just accept a 30fps Pal signal, but geez!

Any ideas?
Has anyone ever tried doing this with other capture cards?

Just a wild guess but E.J. Tagle's Universal WDM Drivers supports a video standard named "PAL_60" which could be suited for that task. Assuming you have a Conexant TV card with a multi-standard tuner it may be worth a try.
