Hi all,
I'm kinda new to this capturing video thing, and I've done some searching for my question but i didn't find any answers so here it goes...
basically i capture my video to mpeg2 format with my ati aiw7500..i would capture to avi using huffy but my hd is pretty limited (about 10gb free at most) and i usually record for hour sessions (tv shows).
anyway, the video comes out pretty good at 2.2mb/sec but their is still some artificating going on....
to try to remedy the situation i loaded up a test file (2mins in length) into tmpge and put it through the noise filter...it does look much better, but it takes forever! (like 45 mins for a 2 min clip)...doing an hour worth of video would take 24 hours at this rate)...my question is whether or not there is a better method to my madness?
thanks in advance,
scott
