I have been testin mp4 format a lot lately. Aac sound rocks!!! Only problem is lack of post processing. It's not a problem if you are streaming because then you are not using full screen mode. Quicktime 6's post processing is a bad joke. And yes you can watch mp4 clips with Media player and RealOne if you use EnvivioTV plugin but those players don't have internal post processing system so no processing for mp4 files! Only Divx player have "internal" post processing but it doesn't support Aac sound! So currently no reason to do mp4 files if you're not going to stream them or don't want to watch them in small window.

what exactly do u mean when u say 'mp4' ?
are you aware that divx and xvid are mpeg4 as well?
ever tried ffdshow (http://sf.net/projects/ffdshow)? it decodes all major mpeg4 formats, and has very good postprocessing.
pls give some more details..
thx

@Gaia: Just a suggestion - why not send an email to Envivio requesting post-processing in their next version of EnvivioTV, or you could post something on their support forum? I've found that the guys at Envivio, particularly Boris, are very responsive to users' questions. Really, it wouldn't surprise me if they added a new feature like this if enough people asked for it.
