Just wondering, I'm a newbie here, what was the easiest way, least time consuming method of buring either 1 or 2 dvd-r copies. Obvously with 1 dvd-r you will have to re-encode, but that does not bother me too much as long as it does not need much involvment for each new DVD.
I basiclly want a too copy a bunch of different DVD's with as little user involvement (time involvment) as possible. Of course quality is important.
Which road, guide, should I be following?

If you only want the main movie, no menu.
I think CCE 2 pass is the fastest, remux audio with any tool, then create new ifo with IfoEdit.

If you want Menu, and/or subtitles and/or bonuses.
Ifoedit stream strip if enough or Trilight method (CCE,Subrip==> Maestro, then Ifoupdate to have a "menu" version)

Also, Ifoedit Strip + Rempeg2 is not consuming a lot of human time, but lot of CPU time (15 to 30 hours depending movie and your CPU) and it's not a solution I like because of the Rempeg2 quality.

Try fist with no menu and only IfoEdit strip streams (clearly look at IfoEdit guides)

Then, once used to that go on DVD2AVI+Chapter Xtractor+CCE for encoding and Maestro for authoring using trilight method or doing complete new menus)

Then, once used to that go on Scenarist for more complex movies (multiples VTS and or multiples PGC in VTS, Seamless branching etc.)

It's the way I learned but you can surely find another process to meet your needs.
