hello i want my subtitels in the movie and not downside
i use
subrip
sub adjust
maestrosbt
maestrodvd
when i play the dvd on my tv i can't see the sub
so i want him in the movie not in the black border is it possible

you can try opening the subtitle script in SSA and making it on SSA so the subtitles will appear higher. Then reconvert it and it should be fine.

get rid of extended positioning with coordinates format of subrip. It puts a 'Dispaly Area ...' control command in the file the missplaces the subs altogether.
If u dont have access to the org vobs u can get rid of the command by opening the srt or son file and deleting it between the sub lines. It is easily spotted.
Make sure that the color codes are not mixed up. U may try the template I am supply as a generic son header file as long as u subrip with font on blue and a outline of white.

in maestrosbt you can give the position of the sub
en now it is good
