(I'm posting this for a friend of mine, whose authorization is still too fresh to post)

I'm having this problem with OGM. I have two ogg streams, one is 2 channels, the other 6. When i mux them into an ogm file i have problems with playback. When the 2 channel ogg is inserted first and 6channel ogg second the second ogg stream plays in slowmotion.
If i put the 6 channel ogg as first it will play the 2 channel ogg in fast motion. It must be the ogm filter. They play in winamp good. Also if i only mux 1 ogg stream it works fine, but as soon as i add the other ogg stream the audio playback is screwed.

Does anyone know the solution of this problem?

Hi.

I had a simillar problem when i muxed a Mono ogg (1 channel) and an stereo ogg (2 channels) in the same ogm.

I solved it converting the Mono ogg in Stereo (duplicating the channel).

Maybe you can try to convert the 2 channel ogg to 6 channel ogg (the other 4 channels in silence). The problems is the size of the converted ogg. And i don't know a program that can do that :( (maybe BeSweet) DSPGuru, your knowledge is needed :)

we could write a BeSweet plugin to add silence for the surround channels..

I could really use that plugin as well. Are you going to write one?

The new oggds filter fixes the playback of 6ch ogg file,
but when i want to mux both 6ch and 2ch ogg into an ogm file i get the same problem decribed in this topic :(

Is this a problem of windows itself?
It would be great to see this fixed in a future version of oggds.
